What a year 2021 has been! Despite the ongoing COVID pandemic, electric blinds continue to grow in popularity and we’ve been delighted to supply and install a wide variety of blinds in homes and commercial properties across London and the south of the UK. Here are a few of our favourite electric blinds projects that we hope will inspire you.
Motorised Blinds For Crittall Windows Fitted in Cookham, Berkshire
We kicked off 2021 with the installation of these fabulous semi-transparent electric blinds for a new extension in Crookham Berkshire. The large crittall windows needed some shade and privacy without obstructing the garden view so we fitted four blinds with a 3% screen fabric.
Concealed Electric Blinds Fitted in Lymington, Hampshire
These electric blinds are fitted to a beautiful timber-cladded home in the New Forest. Our client wanted all of the blinds to be hidden from view when not in use so we worked with the architect and building contractors to design a special pelmet to conceal the blinds. The end result was stunning; simple and minimalist to blend in with the property’s unique style.
Electric Blinds Fitted In London Offices
This is a fantastic example of our commercial electric blinds. This large office space in Lombard Wharf Battersea, needed electric blinds to reduce screen glare. The long-life battery blinds feature a semi-transparent fabric to filter the light without blocking the scenic waterfront views. We also powder-coated the blind fascias to match the window frames for a smart finish.
Concealed battery blinds with custom fascia fitted in London
Electric blinds are perfect for large sliding doors as demonstrated in this beautiful open plan kitchen-diner in Richmond, London. We fitted Qmotion D-cell battery blinds which provide privacy and shade without the need for any electric installation. The custom-made fascia conceals the roller mechanism of the blinds and matches the colour of the window frames.
Electric Roller Blinds Fitted in Sandbanks, Poole
We loved fitting these large electric roller blinds for a refurbishment project in Sandbanks, Poole. Our client wanted the blinds to be incorporated into the property design so the roller and motor would be concealed from view, so we worked with the architect and builder to create specially made pockets. The result is fantastic with the blinds seamlessly disappearing into the cavity when they are not in use.
