How are electric blinds powered?

We offer a choice of two power options – mains wired or battery. Wired electric blinds can be connected to your mains electricity supply either via a spare wall plug socket or a specially fitted fused spur. Our battery operated blinds are completely wire free.

How long will the batteries last on my electric blind?

Our battery operated electric blinds use standard alkaline D cell batteries which can last up to five years based on an average use of four movements per day.

I don’t have a power source near to my windows, can I still have electric blinds?

Yes. We can either work with an electrician to have the wiring installed and a fused spur fitted or you can choose to have wireless battery operated blinds.
