These fabulous blackout electric blinds were fitted for our client in Gloucester. The new extension to the rear of the property features large, floor-to-ceiling windows that required screening. But our client was keen that the blinds did not spoil the view when they were retracted. So, we fitted a smart 70mm fascia that hides the blinds completely when they’re not in use. Each of the blinds can be operated individually at the touch of a button allowing our client to shade sections of the room as required. We also colour-matched the powder coating to the window frames for a smart and coordinated look.
Concealed Electric Blinds
If you want electric blinds that aren’t visible when they are not in use, we have a number of concealed smart blind solutions. Many of our customers opt for a special blind pocket to be installed which the blind disappears neatly into. A concealed blinds ceiling recess can be incorporated into new builds or renovations projects. Or a colour-match fascia can be installed the hide the blind from view, as we have done on this occasion.
Blackout Electric Blinds
There are many benefits to having Electric blackout blinds. First and foremost, they are perfect for blocking out lots of light, especially when you have lots of glass to screen. An opaque fabric will not only provide privacy, but it can also help to keep a room cool/warm depending on the season and can help to protect furniture. Furthermore, they are great for omitting light from a bedroom or home cinema. We have a wide selection of blind fabrics to choose from including over 500 different colours.
