We fitted electric crittall window blinds at a stunning home in Chiswick, London. Crittall windows are a trendy and stylish way to bring lots of light into your home, and the black, steel-framed windows provide a smart, art deco style that suits anything from period townhouses to new-build extensions. Our client wanted some blinds that would provide privacy at night and add an extra layer of insulation, but also be hidden from view when they’re not in use. The blinds are connected to the property’s mains supply and are controlled using a simple-to-use remote control. The fascia is a smart square cassette and is coloured matched to the same Pantone as the window frames.
Concealed Electric Blinds
All of our electric blinds for crittall style windows can be concealed with a smart fascia to ensure your beautiful steel-frames are on full show. Custom made to measure, the fascia won’t look out of place, and it can be colour-matched to the RAL number of your window frames for a coordinated look. If you are planning a new-build or restoration project, we can also work with architects and contractors to install a ceiling recess to house the crittall style window blinds.
Hardwired Electric Blinds
The property’s 240v mains supply powers the electric blinds. If you have an electrical spur close to your critical style windows, we can connect electric blinds to it for a neat and tidy solution. Alternatively, we can work with a professional electrician to have one fitted. These blinds are operated via a simple-to-use remote control, and they can be pre-programmed to open and close automatically at set times of the day.
