We have been involved with this beautiful refurbishment of a property in Clapham, South London. Our client wanted an electric blind to cover their large flat roof skylight measuring 3 metres x 4.5 metres. They also wanted the blind to be concealed from view when not in use. This is the kind of project that we specialise in, so we worked alongside the building contractor and architect to provide a solution to hide the blinds when not in use. The result is simply stunning and the flat roof blind can be closed in under a minute, helping to shade the dining area, as well as dampen acoustics and retain heat.
Electric Blind Concealment
If you are working on a house extension or renovation project and would like a roof blind that is hidden from view when not in use, we have the skills and knowledge to work with your architect and builder to create a suitable recess that the blind can retract into. In this case, the blind was quite large so we needed to create enough room for the blind to roll back into. The result means that the full skylight can be easily exposed or covered as required, and you can barely notice that the blind is there when fully retracted.
