The blind fabric is fire retardant and controls the light in this newly formed room without making it appear too dark.
Roof Lantern Electric Blinds
Whether you want to reduce glare, control room temperature or increase energy efficiency, our roof lantern electric blinds are perfect for covering large roof lights in commercial properties. The blind is fitted with a special zip system that guides the fabric smoothly across the void and keeps the blind taut, but not overstretched. The blind can be controlled via a wall switch, hand-held remote control or via an app on a smartphone or tablet. We can also fit a headbox to hide the blind from view when it is not in use.
Screen Fabric
Although roof lanterns are a great way of letting lots of light into a room, on warm days, rooms can often become too hot and require extra shade. We offer a range of screen fabrics that let in enough light to keep the room feeling bright and airy, but also provide some respite from the hot sunshine. The natural colour of this fabric also prevents the room from becoming too dark, so the students can continue with their work. Our wide range of translucent screen fabrics includes 1% and 5% openness, as well as full blackout fabric if required.
