We have supplied and fitted this wonderful electric blind for a stunning roof lantern at a property in Marylebone, London. The roof lantern was part of a refurbishment at the house in Garbutt Place. While the roof lantern provided lots of light for the new kitchen area, our client wanted a bit more privacy from neighbouring properties that overlook from above. The blind that we have fitted provides enough shade and privacy as required, but can be fully retracted for maximum light when not in use.
No Sag Zip Technology
Our electric roof lantern blinds are manufactured with a clever ‘zip’ system to ensure smooth opening and closing of the blind. The ‘zip’ runs along the length of the fabric and this slots into a channel to make sure the fabric is firm and taut at all times. This zip also prevents the fabric from being pulled out of the channel and makes sure the blind opens and closes smoothly and evenly.
Discreet Head Box
As you can see from the photos, the electric blind is neatly rolled away into a smart and discreet head box. This creates a tidy finish and ensures that maximum light can enter the room when the blind is not in use. The head boxes are available in 85mm, 110mm, 150mm and 200mm, depending on blind size, and can be easily accessed and maintained. In this case we have also suggested a shelf for the system to sit on and hide the box for a beautifully polished look. We do also have options for complete blind concealment using innovative Blindspace® pockets.
