We have just installed smart blinds throughout this beautiful property in Winchester. Bifold doors in the living room provide fantastic views over the nearby golf course, but the low evening sunshine can make the living room too hot and bright at times. Following a neighbour’s recommendation, our client asked us to install electric screen blinds to reduce glare and help control the temperature. They also requested blinds for the bedroom and hallway. We powder-coated all of the hardware the same colour as the window frames and provided smart controls in each room.
Using an app on your smartphone, tablet or watch to control your electric blinds is now easier than ever. We also have electric blinds that can be connected to Alexa or Homekit devices and be controlled via simple voice commands. Just let us know if you wish to operate your blinds in this way when you order, and we’ll ensure your blinds come with the compatible motors.
Screen Electric Blinds
A semi-transparent screen fabric is a great choice if you need to reduce sun glare, but you still want to let some light in and don’t want to block all of the view. Our range of translucent fabrics includes various grades of openness from 1% to 5%, giving you plenty of choice depending on how much light you want to block out. As well as the light coloured fabrics like the ones shown here, we also offer darker colours that deflect more light.
